Accessibility

Everyone should be able to use this site.

What we’ve done, what we know still needs work, and how to reach us when something doesn’t work for you.

SoFlo Palms LLC d/b/a Agent Elona wants agentelona.com to work for everyone, whatever device or assistive technology you use. Our target is the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 at level AA.

What we’ve done

  • Real text everywhere, including headings, buttons and the logo lockups, so it scales and can be read aloud.
  • Proper landmarks (header, navigation, main, footer), one heading structure per page, and a skip link to the content.
  • Every form control has a visible label; errors are announced and described next to the field.
  • Everything works with a keyboard, and the focus is always visible.
  • Touch targets are at least 44 pixels.
  • Photos of people carry descriptions; decorative artwork is hidden from screen readers.
  • No motion that cannot be paused, no autoplaying media, no third-party trackers.

What we know about

Three colour pairings in the brand palette fall short of the AA contrast ratio for text: the peach italic in large headings, the orange “Licensed in Florida & Illinois” line on the peach panel, and the teal eyebrow on the same panel. None carries information that is not also available elsewhere on the page, and we are reviewing them [decision pending].

The quote flow lets you upload photos of documents. If that is not workable for you, every field can be entered by hand instead, and Elona can take the details by phone.
